UsageKit Privacy Policy

AI usage monitor for iPhone, iPad and Mac · HanilSoft · Last updated September 23, 2026

UsageKit does not collect any personal data.

There is no UsageKit account and no UsageKit server. We have no analytics, no advertising and no tracking.

What the app handles

To show your usage, UsageKit needs a sign-in credential (an access token) for each AI service you choose to track — for example Claude, Codex, Cursor, Grok or Aside. You provide it by signing in inside the app, by pasting a token, or, on Mac, by letting the app read the sign-in that the service's own command-line tool or app already saved on your Mac.

None of this is sent to us. Deleting the app removes it.

Network use

UsageKit connects directly from your device to the services you use, and only to sign in, refresh your sign-in and read your usage (for example anthropic.com / claude.ai, chatgpt.com / openai.com, cursor.com, x.ai). What those services do with requests is covered by their own privacy policies. UsageKit never sends your tokens or usage anywhere else.

Reading files on Mac

On Mac, UsageKit can read — but never modify — the sign-in files that the Codex, Grok and Aside command-line tools and the Cursor app keep in your home folder. They are read on your Mac and are not sent anywhere except to the matching service.

Third parties

We do not share, sell or rent any data, because we do not have any. UsageKit contains no third-party SDKs for analytics or advertising.

Children's privacy

UsageKit does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

Deleting your data

Sign out of a service in the app, or delete the app. Everything UsageKit stored lives on your device, so there is nothing for us to delete on our side.
